Curhat dulu

hari ini perdana saya jadi asisten dosen metodoogi penelitian saya. diputer-puter ngambil absen dari GKU Barat sampai akhirnya ke sekre TPB di perpus. ngasistenin di kelas TPB SITH & SF 2011. duduk diam 2 jam di meja paling depan. sesekali mencatat sambil baca The Alchemist di iPad. ngeceng dikit. ngumpulin kuis ke tiap-tiap meja. pulang sambil ketawa-ketiwi sama dosen tersebut.

kontras sama jadi asprak. seminggu sebelum dinas latihan asistensi dulu. ketawa-ketiwi sama orang-orang abnormal penghuni lab Fiswan. ngasistenin sambil ngajarin per kelompok. ampas-ampasan sama praktikan yang sama kacaunya. ngeceng (tetep). pulangnya makan ditraktir dosen #kodebuatpakindra. ngedampingi proyek anak-anak sampai malem padahal besoknya logbook belum buat. 

kangen banget sumpah sih ini jadi asprak :”(

The Edible Cell

Guys, remember the edible cell?  Truly the most delicious of all elementary school science projects.  Looking at these is making me so nostalgic, I want to plan an edible cell party where everyone has to bring one.

(Full disclosure: one of these is a professional job.  Don’t feel bad if yours looked more like this.)

Mine was a cookie cake with the cells drawn in icing. I win.

When my class did this, we had the option of writing a story to tell the whole cell thing. I’m a big enough nerd that that appealed to me more than cake.

My friend Dony also posted it in my batch’s group days ago. Dude, even there was a ten-something years old boy smoking at the poolside when I had that nice dip at Cimanggu hotsprings.

I used to be into smokers but well, not anymore.

Setelah belakangan minjem komik Team Medical Dragon yang mayoritas menggambarkan susah dan mahalnya operasi jantung akibat segala penyakit yang dipelajari di mata kuliah Fisiologi Peredaran Darah semester lalu, saya tiba-tiba tergerak untuk hidup sehat dan lari pagi ke Saraga.

Habis lari 6 keliling macem tes lari olahraga TPB, langsung menuju tukang bubur langganan di depan kios Balubur lama. Orang-orang yang pernah lari pagi bareng saya pasti tahu tempat bubur murah ini. Alhamdulillah ya bisa produktif di hari terakhir liburan ini :”)

Went on 2D1N backpacking escape to Ciwidey with Alin, Cynthia, and Cacing! Well, it wasn’t “backpacking” for Cacing since she brought a travel bag with her. We rented a super big cottage for twelve while there were only four of us (but it costed us half the price). Had a nice comfy dip at Cimanggu hotspring, sailed away at Situ Patenggang, and walked our way to Walini Factory.

We’ve made an unwritten pact about “Piracy of privacy is out of our responsibility” by the time we signed for Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and blog up.

What best to do now is: control your privacy well. Don’t spread the words and be angry for people knowing afterward. Unless if you really want them to know; tell the world like you blow the dust off of the old China.

Just saying.

So I am now suffering from an extra-big loss. My tiny little MMC card contained umpteen (no wait, a lot more) photos from my journey this very day is corrupted. No single file was saved and there lost uncountable (a bit exaggerating here) reminders for this awesome day.

And it was my first time jumping on a very nice trampoline, anyway.

And now I’m working to the bone repairing the photo folder which had turned into nauseating 32 kb-sized “file”. Wish me the greatest luck cause you know what? I’m needing it more than you can imagine :(
